How It Works
Four simple steps.
#1 - Send Your Memories
After signing up with a deposit we send you an addressed box, that is tracked, paid for, and insured. Inside we have instruction for packing up your journals, albums and photographs and how to identify what you would like put in the book.
#2 - Scanning & Digital Layout
Based on the quantity of pages you identified for the book, we provide you with a page count and invoice for the scanning services based on the size of the book. After receiving the scanning fee, we carefully digitize and arrange the memories into a book format. If you just want the digital version, we will send you the files and a pdf of the book. You do not have to order print copies, but it is a wonderful option to complete the book. Regardless, we will mail back your original materials when the scanning is complete.
#3 - Review & Order Copies
We will send you a digital copy of your book for your approval. Once approved we publish the book in softcover or hardbound. You can order just one copy or add several copies at a discounted price. You do not need to decide or pay for the books until you are ready for us to place the order to the publisher.
#4 - Receive Your Book
We will have returned your original materials after the scanning stage of the process. The copies of your books are mailed directly from the publisher. Publishing can take 2-3 weeks once the pdf has been approved.

What We Don't Do
We are not a photo restoration service. We don't repair damaged photographs, remove scratches, restore faded colors, or digitally alter your images.

How does the preservation process work?

How Does Pricing Work?
Your $49.95 deposit covers getting started with your Preservation Box, with $25 credited toward your scanning service.
Scanning costs $299 for up to 100 billable pages, before your $25 credit. Additional pages are $1.50 each.
Once we receive and count your materials, we'll send you an invoice before scanning begins.
Printed books are optional and priced separately.

Your $49.95 deposit gets your preservation process started. We'll send you a Preservation Box with prepaid return shipping so you can safely send us your treasured memories. Plus, $25 of your deposit will be credited toward your scanning service.
Do you restore old or damaged photographs?
No. We specialize in preserving your memories, not restoring or altering them. We carefully scan your original photographs or use the high-resolution images you provide, keeping their original appearance.
We do not remove scratches, repair damage, or restore faded colors.
Will I get my original photographs and documents back?
Yes! Your original materials will be returned to you along with your USB drive containing the digitized files.
Do I have to purchase a printed book?
Not at all! Printed books are completely optional.
You'll receive a digital PDF of your scanned pages and PNG image files on a USB drive, even if you choose not to order a printed book.
Can I review my PDF before ordering a book?
Absolutely! We'll send you a PDF proof to review before you decide whether to order a printed book.
You'll have the opportunity to approve the proof or request corrections before moving forward.
Can I order more than one copy of my book?
Yes! You can order multiple copies of your hardcover or softcover book, making it easy to share your family's memories with loved ones.
Book pricing depends on the format, page count, and number of copies ordered.
